Installation & Activation

  1. Download the official aara-cta.zip archive.
  2. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard (/wp-admin).
  3. Navigate to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
  4. Click Choose File, select aara-cta.zip, and click Install Now.
  5. Click Activate Plugin.

Quick Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Setting up conversion tracking with AARA Tech - CTA takes less than 2 minutes. Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Launch Setup Wizard

Click the Setup Wizard button at the top of the admin page or navigate to AARA Tracking → Setup Wizard.

Step 2: Connect Platforms

In Step 4, enter your Measurement IDs & Pixel IDs (e.g. GA4 G-XXXXXXXXXX, Meta Pixel ID). Use direct links to open admin consoles.

Step 3: Select Events & Privacy

In Steps 5 & 6, pick conversion events to track (Leads, Purchases, WhatsApp Clicks) and configure Google Consent Mode v2.

Step 4: Verify & Activate

Run the live connection diagnostic in Step 7, then click Activate Live Tracking in Step 8 to complete setup.

How to Edit & Manage Settings After Setup

Once setup is completed, the header button will display Setup Completed. You can modify any configuration anytime using the 6 dedicated admin tabs:

  • Overview & Health: Real-time tracking health score, active platform status cards, and the Test My Tracking diagnostic runner.
  • Platforms: Enable/Disable individual platforms and update IDs or API Access Tokens with instantaneous toggle switches.
  • Events Registry: Enable or disable specific conversion events (e.g., Page View, Lead, Purchase, Add to Cart) with batch Select All / Clear All buttons.
  • Integrations: Configure automatic form tracking (CF7, WPForms, etc.), WhatsApp/Phone click tracking, and custom CSS click selectors.
  • Privacy & Consent: Manage Google Consent Mode v2 default states, Meta/TikTok Limited Data Use (LDU), and PII parameter scrubbing.
  • Advanced & Tools: View real-time event transmission logs, test synthetic events, and export diagnostic logs.

Automatic In-Dashboard Plugin Updates

AARA Tech - CTA comes with a built-in Self-Hosted Auto-Updater Client connected directly to the official api.aara-tech.com API gateway.

How Automatic Updates Work for Customers:

  1. Automatic Background Check: Every 12 hours (and whenever an administrator visits the WordPress Plugins or Dashboard → Updates screen), WordPress checks https://api.aara-tech.com/v1/plugins/update for new releases.
  2. Update Notification: When a newer version is released, WordPress displays an official notification banner:
    There is a new version of AARA Tech — Conversion Tracking & Analytics available. View version details or Update Now.
  3. 1-Click Update: The customer clicks Update Now. WordPress securely downloads the new package from the API, replaces plugin files, and activates the update automatically.
  4. Changelog Popup: Clicking View version details opens a native modal window displaying release highlights, changelogs, and upgrade instructions.

Manual Update Alternative (Replace with Uploaded):

If you prefer manual updates or receive an updated aara-cta.zip file via email/client portal:

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
  2. Upload the new aara-cta.zip file and click Install Now.
  3. Click Replace current with uploaded.
